Description
This lot consists of 33 live cartridges of .45-70 Government ammunition manufactured by Remington-Peters. The cartridges feature brass casings and are organized within a black plastic Frankford Arsenal Magnum Ammo Box containing a grid-style tray that holds five rows of ten rounds each. Key markings include the headstamps on the base of each casing, which are transcribed verbatim as R – P and 45-70 GOVT. The storage container lid is embossed with the text Frankford Arsenal above Magnum Ammo Box along with a small logo. Based on the included measurements for scale, the ammunition box measures approximately 6 inches in width and 4 inches in height.
