Description
New Idea model 5408 disc mower manufactured by AGCO in Duluth, Georgia, USA. This agricultural implement is constructed with a red-painted steel frame and a six-disc rotary cutting bed. The unit is designed for tractor mounting via a three-point hitch and is powered by a PTO drive shaft. It includes hydraulic lines for lifting the cutter bar and a spring-assisted flotation system. An AGCO identification plate is located on the main frame specifying model number 5408 and serial number HL30406. Branding is visible on the drive belt housing as New Idea 5408. The cutter bar is protected by a black heavy-duty flexible curtain.
