Description
This lot comprises two vintage wooden rolling pins of differing designs. The first is a traditional American-style rolling pin made from a light-toned hardwood, such as maple or birch. It features a rotating cylindrical barrel on a central axis with two tapered handles. The second is a primitive, one-piece rolling pin hand-turned from a darker, aged hardwood with a prominent grain. In this design, the handles are a continuous part of the barrel assembly. Both items are characteristic of 20th-century American farmhouse kitchenware. No manufacturer marks or signatures were found on either item.
