Description
This collection includes several vintage and antique glass bottles produced for the spirits, beverage, and dairy industries. The group features a dark amber whiskey bottle with an embossed circular seal for Paul Jones Whiskey Louisville KY. Also included is a large light aqua mineral water bottle embossed Buffalo Lithia Springs Water featuring the seated female figure trade mark. Regional bottling is represented by a light green glass bottle for Glacier Bottling Works Shelbyville KY and a stippled clear bottle marked O-Ping. Dairy items comprise two clear milk bottles, one embossed for Ewing’s Dairy Products and a one-pint bottle for Sunny Bay Dairy. A green glass soda bottle retains its applied color label for Kentucky Nip Sparkling Cherry Julep, displaying an illustration of a bearded man in a hat. One clear bottle is filled with numerous green and clear glass marbles.
