The Dude Living Estate- Cast Iron, Gold, Range Rover & Atv's with Additions
Lot 418:
Description
A neoclassical style garden urn or planter following the traditional campana form. The item is constructed of mold-cast stone or a similar cementitious composition material, featuring a grainy, light-colored substrate visible in areas of finish loss. The design includes a wide, flared rim with a molded decorative border above a fluted and gadrooned body. A central horizontal band displays a relief-molded pattern of repeating arches. The urn is supported by a fluted pedestal base that rests upon a stepped, square plinth. The interior is hollowed out for use as a planter. The exterior has a dark black painted finish applied to simulate the appearance of weathered cast iron. No maker marks, labels, or inscriptions are visible on the piece.
