The large oval-shaped divided bowl is finished in a glossy chocolate brown glaze with an impressed scalloped decorative band. The base features an impressed mark for Barcrest Oven-Proof Stoneware USA. The barrel-form vessel is designed to simulate a wooden barrel with horizontal banding and a grey wood-grain wash glaze. It includes a removable lid with a knob and a wooden spigot, and is marked USA on the base. The green-glazed vessel is a Japanese yuzamashi or tea water cooling bowl, featuring a side handle, a wide pouring spout, and a textured cross-hatch exterior. The base is stamped Japan. The final item is a small bulbous sake flask or vase with a two-tone glaze, featuring a teal lower body with a hand-painted blue foliate design and a flared medium-blue neck.
