Description
This still bank is modeled in the form of a standing pig and is constructed from cast iron in two separate halves. The piece features a coin slot located along the upper ridge of the back. The pig is depicted in a naturalistic standing pose with downward-slanting ears and a curled tail. No manufacturer marks or patent information are visible on any surface. While the design is a common form produced by early 20th-century companies such as A.C. Williams, the lack of markings and the specific casting quality are also consistent with later decorative versions or reproductions of this classic design.
