Description
FOR PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY: This Victorian style cast iron garden bench features a traditional grapevine and leaf motif. The piece is constructed with an elaborate, pierced openwork design throughout. The tall, arched back and integrated scrolled armrests are densely cast with patterns of grape clusters and broad vine leaves. This foliate theme continues across the serpentine-fronted seat, which displays scrolling vine work and further grape motifs. The bench is supported by four cabriole-style legs, each adorned with relief-cast grapes and acanthus leaves, terminating in flared foliate feet. The construction is of cast metal, likely iron. No maker marks, foundry stamps, or model numbers are visible.
