Description
This is a painted cast iron figurine depicting a standing dog, identified by its physical characteristics as a Wire Fox Terrier. The dog is rendered in a four-legged pose with its head turned slightly to the right. The figurine is constructed from a two-part hollow casting joined along a vertical seam and secured with a single flat-head screw on the right side of the torso. The exterior surface is textured to represent a wire-haired coat. The piece is hand-painted with a cream-colored base and features large black patches on the back and head, accented with mustard-yellow borders.
