Description
This collection consists of multiple pieces of mid-20th-century translucent deep red glass featuring various decorative patterns and molded forms. The assortment includes a large bowl in the Moon and Star pattern, characterized by a scalloped rim and a repeating motif of large oval thumbprints with interior horizontal ribbing and smaller circular indentations. Also included is a circular bon-bon dish with a hobnail exterior and a crimped or ruffled edge, featuring a central silver-toned metal carrying handle. The collection is rounded out by a rectangular utility dish with vertical ribbing and small tab handles at each end, and two small shell-shaped dishes. These items are in the styles associated with manufacturers such as Anchor Hocking, Fenton Art Glass, and L.G. Wright or L.E. Smith. No manufacturer marks, logos, or signatures are visible on any of the pieces.
