Description
An assortment of clear pressed glass tableware and vanity items produced in the mid-to-late 20th century. The collection includes a pair of graduated rectangular lidded candy dishes on tiered pedestal bases featuring oval faceted designs and tiered lids. Also included is a lidded sugar bowl and matching creamer set featuring a star and fan pattern consistent with the Anchor Hocking Early American Prescut line. Further items consist of a small decorative vase with a heavy diamond-point texture in the form of a pineapple, a small handled pitcher or cruet with a central starburst motif, and a two-piece set featuring a lidded cylindrical jar and a matching footed bowl with a scalloped rim, both decorated with geometric diamond and star patterns. The pieces are manufactured from clear soda-lime glass using industrial molding techniques, resulting in the softened edges characteristic of pressed glass rather than hand-cut crystal. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on any of the pieces.
