Description
This lot consists of a collection of mid-century decorative miniatures and a wooden storage box. The assortment includes a small mechanical twin-bell alarm clock with a cream-colored dial, black Arabic numerals, and luminous hour markers, marked Linden on the face and Japan on the back casing. Ceramic items include a seated male figure wearing a black top hat and green coat, stamped Made in Japan on the base; a young skier in a red jacket and blue cap; a bird perched on a flowering branch; and a pair of twin-handled miniature vases featuring floral transfer-printed designs and gilt accents. The collection also includes a small cast-metal skull with a dark aged patina. The items are housed in a rectangular stained softwood box with a hinged lid and finger-jointed (box joint) corner construction.
