Description
A Regency style side table featuring a removable oval tole metal tray resting on a separate wooden stand. The tray is finished in black lacquer and decorated with hand-painted floral sprays including roses and forget-me-nots, centered by a gilded foliate wreath. The raised rim is further accented with a delicate foliate border. The black-painted wooden stand is composed of four tapered legs joined by a double X-form stretcher. Each leg is decorated with gold horizontal pinstripe banding and topped with a metal cup to receive the tray.
