A vintage American handmade patchwork quilt featuring a Grandmother’s Flower Garden pattern. The piece is constructed from printed cotton calico scraps in various floral, checked, and striped patterns, arranged into hexagonal clusters with neutral sage green sashing. The quilt is framed by a solid pink border with hand-quilted scalloped and diamond motifs. The construction consists of hand-quilting in a concentric pattern following the hexagonal shapes, which is visible on both the patterned side and the solid sage green backing. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the piece.
