Description
A polychrome painted cast iron doorstop depicting a young girl, manufactured by the Waverly Studios. The hollow-back casting features a girl with dark hair and bangs, wearing a pink floral-patterned dress with a cream-colored sash and lace-trimmed white bloomers. She holds a yellow straw hat decorated with pink and purple flowers at her side. The figure stands on a tiered black base with a pink and green beaded border. The reverse of the figure is embossed with the text PAT APPD FOR. The rear edge of the base features the Waverly Studios trademark, consisting of a triangle with the letters W & S, inside, flanked by the words TRADE and MARK.
