Description
This table lamp is designed in the Colonial Revival or hurricane style, featuring a base constructed from clear glass and gold-toned metal. The glass base consists of two distinct sections: a flared bottom with vertical fluting and a bulbous middle section. A gold-toned metal socket housing is decorated with an embossed laurel leaf pattern and contains a single-light socket operated by a black turn-knob switch. A clear glass chimney is positioned over the bulb and extends through the top of the shade. The lamp is fitted with a tapered coolie-style shade featuring a linen-like fabric texture and dark-toned trim along the top and bottom rims. The lamp is equipped with a modern gold-colored plastic-coated cord and a standard two-prong plug. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the exterior of the piece.
