Description
A pair of vintage tan leather suitcases manufactured by Hartmann from the Knocabout model line. The collection consists of a larger suitcase and a smaller companion case, both constructed of natural-toned leather with prominent perimeter stitching and brass-toned metal hardware. A metal manufacturer’s plaque on the front of the smaller suitcase reads Hartmann in script over KNOCABOUT. Both cases are monogrammed with gold-toned letters W. T. P. positioned below the leather-wrapped handles. The interiors are lined with a gray textured fabric and feature internal straps and dividers. The smaller case retains an original instructional card titled Hartmann KNOCABOUT illustrating packing techniques.
