Description

A collection of five glass canning jars manufactured in the early to mid-20th century. Four of the jars are composed of translucent light blue-tinted glass, also commonly referred to as aqua. One jar features an embossed mark on the front shoulder reading ATLAS in block letters, with STRONG SHOULDER and MASON embossed below it. Two other blue jars bear the Ball script logo; one is embossed with Ball above PERFECT MASON, and the other features the Ball script above MASON. A fourth blue jar appears to have no distinct embossed branding. The jars exhibit characteristic manufacturing traits of the period, including visible vertical mold seams and small air bubbles trapped within the glass. The largest vessel is a clear glass utility or storage jar featuring a wide mouth and a white-painted metal screw-top lid.Width: 6 inches (clear jar at widest point)Height: 9.5 inches (clear jar with lid).
