A miniature Victorian style balloon back side chair constructed from mahogany-stained hardwood. The frame features a continuous hoop back design, often referred to as a balloon back, which incorporates a carved central splat featuring a stylized floral and leaf motif. The seat is a padded slip-in design upholstered in a blue and cream floral damask tapestry fabric. The front of the chair is supported by turned legs featuring ring and flute detailing, terminating in peg feet, while the rear legs are square-tapered and out-swept in a saber style.
