A Collection of Vintage Glass Marbles in a Graduated Canning Jar
Description
A large collection of vintage glass marbles housed in a clear glass canning jar. The marbles are clear to translucent glass with a noticeable yellowish-green tint, containing numerous small internal air bubbles (seed bubbles) throughout. The jar is a square-shouldered clear glass vessel featuring molded graduations on one side. On the shoulder, the characters OZ are molded in capital letters. Below these characters are horizontal graduated lines associated with molded numerals reading 12, 8, and 4. The jar is sealed with a gold-tone metal screw-top lid featuring a knurled edge.Height: 5 1/4 inches (to the top of the lid).
