Description
This is a licensed Lionel Trains embossed tin lithograph sign. The sign features a reproduction of the 1950 Golden Anniversary catalog cover art, including a central steam locomotive and a young boy wearing a striped engineer’s cap and a red patterned bandana. Three inset panels promote the Magne-Traction feature with the slogans MORE CLIMB, MORE PULL, and MORE SPEED. The LIONEL header and secondary graphic boxes are embossed to provide tactile depth. The reverse of the sign is finished with teal paint. The bottom right white border is marked with the following inscription: © 1993 Licensed by Lionel Trains, Inc. There are four pre-drilled holes in the corners for wall mounting. Width: 16 1/8 inches Height: 12 1/2 inches.
