Description
A two-piece surf fishing rod and reel combination. The two-piece rod is constructed from a tubular fiberglass blank finished in a cream color with black EVA foam split-grip handles and metal reel seat hoods. The rod features six black-framed guides with ceramic-style inserts, secured with black thread wraps and gold-tone accents. The spinning reel features a black body and a spool with a red and gold printed label. The label on the spool features the maker’s name HURRICANE in red characters followed by XL 70 in a gold-tone oval. The side of the reel body features a printed mark reading LONG CAST in red and another mark below the handle reading BALL BEARING in gold. The spool lists line capacities for 6.8kg, 9.1kg, and 13.6kg weights, and 15lb, 20lb, and 30lb weights. The gear ratio is printed as 4.6:1. The reel is currently spooled with clear monofilament line.
