Description
This pediatric medical diagnostic station features an American Electromedics Corporation diagnostic unit integrated onto a heavy-duty mobile utility cart. The main console is designed with a child-friendly racing theme, featuring a central graphic of a red race car marked with the number 1 and the word AMERICAN. The unit is labeled across the top of the graphic as THE RACE CAR TYMPANOMETER AUDIOMETER. The control interface includes a liquid crystal display and a series of color-coded triangular and rectangular buttons for functions such as POWER, NEW CHILD, SELECT, RETEST, R/L EAR, PRINT, AUDIO, ENTER, FREQ, LEVEL, STIM, and LEVEL. The station includes a pair of over-ear headphones with color-coded red and blue connectors and a black handheld probe assembly. A small clear plastic storage case is present, containing an assortment of colored ear tips, and is labeled AMERICAN Electromedics Corporation. The diagnostic unit is mounted on a tan three-tier plastic mobile cart. The cart features four swivel casters, an open middle shelf, and a bottom locking storage cabinet. The cabinet door is marked with a blue adhesive number 2. The upper frame of the cart includes two metal clipboards and integrated hooks for organizing the headphone and probe cables. Several identifying labels are attached to the device: a silver metal plate reading Gordon N. Stowe & Associates 74 Marco Lane Dayton, OH 45458 1-800-285-7959 and a paper calibration certificate from e3 Gordon Stowe that lists a next calibration date of 4-2019.
