Description
This assortment of porcelain tableware features pieces with floral transfer-ware decoration and various undecorated white glazed items. The primary components include a large circular platter and a lidded sugar bowl by Theodore Haviland. These pieces are decorated with an overglaze floral pattern of pink roses and small blossoms with green foliage. The platter features a molded, scalloped rim with remnants of gold gilding. The underside of the platter bears a red factory mark for Theodore Haviland, Limoges, FRANCE, along with a retail mark for F. SCHULTZE & CO. Cincinnati. The collection also includes several undecorated white porcelain items: a teapot with a fluted, high-shouldered body, swan-neck spout, and scroll handle; a boat-shaped gravy boat with a pedestal base; a small creamer with a looped handle; a small rounded open bowl; and a small dish in the shape of a teapot.
